I am bilingual instructional designer who is passionate about learning and helping others learn! I design and develop learning solutions, meeting learners where they are and bridging the gap to take them where they need to be. Using my years of experience as a teaching artist and educator, I identify learning solutions for a variety of learners, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses.
When I start the process of designing a learning solution, I prioritize the learner. I begin with a needs analysis to identify the performance gaps of the targeted audience and determine if training is the solution. Using the ADDIE model and backward design, I figure out what are the behaviors that need to be changed, what the end goal is and how to get there. I research the product and create a plan to meet the learners' objectives. Keeping adult learning theories and the learner at the forefront, I build learning experiences that will engage learners and take them where they need to be.
When I am not in the world of instructional design, you can find me exploring new restaurants, learning about other cultures and new places to visit. I love traveling and will always be looking for the next adventure. I love spending time outdoors and be around my family, my recently born nephew and friends. You will also find me trying new healthy recipes with my husband and attending sports events and performances.

The Applied Instructional Design Academy credential is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after e-Learning Development, Instructional Design, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Rise badges are completed. Learners complete 80+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, extensive feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects.
